Our Nonwoven Systems

We produce specialty Nonwoven materials at 25 inch (.64m) and 50 inch (1.26m) widths using conventional meltblown, Biax-Fiberfilm technology meltblown, and Biax-Fiberfilm's patented Spun-Blown® system technology. We can run all types of synthetic and bio-polymers including but not limited to PPP, PET, PLA, PBT, and more.

By the end of 2021, we will also be able to offer our customers 59 inch (1.5m) and 133 inch (3.4m) material in both meltblown and Spun-Blown® varieties, and will have spunbond systems online.

The majority of our products are made with our patented
Spun-Blown® technology, producing materials with strength approaching that of spunbond but a fiber size similar to meltblown. 

Spun-Blown® fabrics have a wider fiber size distribution than traditional meltblown. This makes a better filter media by capturing more particles while having less pressure drop. 

In Spun-Blown® fabric sub-micron fibers are naturally co-mingled with big microfibers which would result in strong and high efficiency filter media with higher dust holding capacity at low pressure drop.
The process can handle high operating pressures up to 2000 psi, which enables users to spin a wide variety of resins and operate at lower temperatures. The end result is more energy savings and product versatility.
